A family member was recommended B-complex supplements by a doctor, specifically Nordic Naturals. After a couple of weeks, they felt ill, and their pee started getting a pinkish tint. A web search says that they’re likely getting WAY too much vitamins, so we looked at the box and…

…this supplement contains 10417% RDA of B12. That’s literally ONE HUNDRED TIMES the FDA-recommended amount.

Needless to say we switched to a different product that had a lower amount, and they now feel much better.

Now I don’t know enough about vitamins and supplements to know whether this kind of product should be sold over the counter. But anyway, check the amounts you’re taking!
