#Syria - unconfirmed reports that reports that Rifaat al-#Assad, brother of Hafez al-Assad has died. He ordered
the 1982 #Hama Massacre (at least 30,000 & up to 40,000 killed), & led a coup against his brother Hafez. Went into exile in Europe & returned to #Syria in 2021. @syria
