Just doing a little pigeon posting.

(Zoom in to find the distant pigeons, who are far enough away not to be wary of the enormous ferruginous hawk who was perched in the power line over my shoulder when I took this shot.)
Photo of a large, reddish-brown wood barn with a double-slanted, metallic blue roof standing back from the highway in a scrubby field of olive, rust, and pale yellow. Both low wooden and wire fencing surround this portion of the property, beyond which the dark, tan, and evergreen-dotted forms of some chaparral foothills rise under a pale blue winter sky. On top of the witch-hat peak of the roof stand three grey and white rock pigeons. Thin strands of power line curve like a taut hammock, nearly invisible, above the birds.
Pffft. My rooftop robin is *much* better than that 🤣 🤣
