Update on my broken paw.

I saw the physio today. All seems to be healing as well as can be expected and he gave me exactly what I wanted. Which was a series of exercises to help my hand. He did seem slightly mystified as to why I was still wearing the wrist brace, which, as I already knew, is not necessary and seemed somewhat confused with my explanation that it helped me to remember that the hand was injured. Further explanation that I'm not always aware of pain and that I've never met a door frame yet that I haven't eventually bumped into and that I wore it for added protection, for some strange reason, didn't seem to help.

On a further note, coming up to three weeks off work means that I have almost completely lost track of what day it is. I spent all last Tuesday utterly convinced that it was Monday. As a consequence, waking up the next day to find out that it was Wednesday, meant that part of me was utterly convinced that somehow I had been robbed of a day.
All I can say is, given that I spend so much time on here, which one of you bastards did it?

(Although, my money is on that bloody armoured squirrel.)

it was probably me. The number of days I've misplaced over the last few years slightly worry me.
Unfortunately, it's easy done. Just a weird experience to be so convinced that one day is a Monday and then wake up the next day to find out it's Wednesday, It's like, what the fuck? for a while, until you can wrestle stupid brain into reality anyway 😀
I spent all of Wednesday convinced it was Tuesday. (I have to say that the cyclone robbed us of our sense of time for almost a week). @bananamangodog
I'm not surprised. Hopefully, no damage done.
only minor, but it threw my routine all out of whack. I have now recovered🙂 @bananamangodog
That's what I actually love about extreme weather, as long as no harm is done. It has the ability to pull us out of routine and remind us of the greater and more magnificent world we live in.
interesting, I experienced a cyclone and it warped my sense of time too. Knocked my usually impeccable sense of direction off for about a week also.
We were braced for the worst for days, it seemed. When it had passed through, we both got that special tiredness after a big adrenaline rush. @pathfinder
OK, I confess. It's me. I've been stealing Tuesdays for some time and have now amassed quite a collection.

I had hoped that this would make me happy but I've just become progressively more Mardi.

I am reluctant to part with them, though I had to say goodbye to the Ruby one.
