#Journal of a slightly exhausted Dutch Pixy 🧚🏼♀️ (Friday, 27/12/2024).
TL;DR tried to get back to my own routine again after a shorter night. Managed a wee bit of exercise and some gaming as well. 😊
Woke before the alarm due to a very stupid nightmare. So I just got up and got dressed, I didn't want my mind to wander there again... I took meds, cared for Arwen and then got everything ready to head to the gym with Skoosh.
Caught up on social media and then got to the seated bike. Did my best to get some rounds in, till my leg gave out. When I was just about to head to the massage chairs, two galls rushed passed me and took them. OK... Bummer. So I switched my shoes. And when the galls saw me head home, they just got out of the chairs and went about their business again. They never even activated the massage systems... So that felt rather weird to me... 😔
I got home and I cleaned Arwen's little wound. I washed up, got brekky, and then we got ready for SniffBook walkies. It was dry which was very nice. But it was a bit chilly, so I was glad when Arwen kept moving some. She got in many sniffs and did her thing, while I managed to write a bit for my blog. Yay for that. 😊
When we got home, I got to the pc and I worked on my journal post. Worked on the Xmas days. Then I went downstairs and I had some food. Another shorter walkies with Arwen. And then I got to my hometrainer and I rode for about half an hour.
While I was relaxing on the couch a bit, a sweet friend texted that they'd be up for some gaming! That sounded lovely! So Arwen and I had a quick walk and I fixed her food. 😊 Then I had a nice gaming session with my friends, where there was some yawning happening, as we were both exhausted from the Xmas days... 😇
I got ready for the last walkies and bed time. N&B texted a bit early, but Arwen didn't mind. We had a lovely walk and then I headed to bed. I needed some extra painkillers as my hip was not too pleased with me laying on it. So I switched sides, and then the meds kicked in and I was able to sleep some. 💤
I woke once and then when my alarm woke me. So I got dressed and I was ready to start the last weekend that 2024 has to offer... Let's make this a good one!
