It’s ’under consideration’ - given what Mandelson is, I expect it’s a done deal, but not publicly announced yet. They might sit on it until Trumps inauguration. 🤬

Aye, I assumed he was holding off on announcing whoever it was going to be until after the election. I guess he's guaranteed to make the most self-serving, kowtowing, jobs-for-the-boys choice, whenever that may be. I mean, it's only the most important ambassadorial role there is, why not have it vacant for a few months while he decides whose arse needs to be licked the most? 🤬

Yeah - it's a seriously bad insight into the Labour Party membership that they will tolerate the likes of the deeply corrupt and sinister Mandelson back in the fold. His behind the scenes devilry screwed previously labour governments: he doesn't have an honest bone in his body.
