Unpaid carer Andrea Tucker has won a legal victory against the Department for Work and Pensions, overturning its demand she repay £4,600 for alleged breaches in benefit rules.
Having observed a friend struggling with the DWP (amongst other delaying tactics, phone numbers that are confirmed over the phone but don’t exist when rung) I heartily approve.
Luckily she has had friends who all chip in while she is badly ill.
