I feel like #insulateBritain had amazing branding, declarative messaging and clear scope.

It feels to me like they wasted all that on actions like blocking the M25... it's not intelligible.

Shame they didn't really acknowledge that in their closing statement

yeah... Their actions weren't the best. Hard to know what they were thinking.
just seems like a waste... Branding which aped the union jack, appealing to Tory/nationalists; ecological goal which was also social and economic. Then blocking traffic?

Imagine if they'd started insulating prominent, public buildings from the outside? (Illegally, without planning permission, of course) There's no way the police/gov could have outright opposed it.

And now other groups can't reuse that branding... Ach. A new group could pivot it, if they acknowledged th earlier fuckup.
