Say you wanted to spin up an internationalist, remote-first, tech-worker collective, but then you think about bureaucracy and The Fear stops you in your tracks.

Is there a procedural, flow-chart like resource out there?

in addition to the front-loaded bureaucracy, there's an ongoing overhead cost for every govt you need to register and file taxes with.

As I understand it, it's often easier to start with a local coop (for which you'll just need a quorum and a visit to the local registry), which you can then syndicate internationally with other similar groups.

On the bright side, there are various coop-focused organizations working around the world to help you out in working with your govt+legal system.
