Yesterday NZ police "accidentally" handcuffed, sedated, and kidnapped an 11 year old girl when they were supposed to be locating a missing 20 year old ill woman.
Today the NZ Prime Minister called a Green MP "insane" for suggesting that the police needed better oversight.

The end of this piece has reactions from the main party leaders and *every single one* except the Greens dumps on her. They are absolutely scared of even acknowledging there is more to safety in society than police and that some people are scared of police.
If this is the level of debate at the top of society I'm scared of our society.
