#UnitedHealthCare assassination #Manhattan #NYC

This is a #BlueSky message of mine from March 26, 2024

Note the hashtag of # MobMentality

I have been talking about the crisis of Mob Mentality in the USA all year long, and this December 4, 2024 morning shooting of #CEO #BrianThompson crowd reactions / #SocialMediaSociety is exactly the kind of hate-filled "mob mentality" that I have been describing.

It isn't just Donald Trump fanatics, it is the whole nation.

Again, March 26, 2024

I don't consider this a "mob mentality" at all, but rather a war mentality. Now the Class War has two sides. Not just guillotine memes about the billionaire class anymore, the whole world is coming for their heads.
"the whole world is coming for their heads"

By this, you think more anti-intellectual actions such as murders, killings?

There is a context topic here of "stochastic terrorism" too, that a lot of these memes are trying to specifically incite more public murders / killer hits.

This is the thread you originally replied to, did you get lost here on Mastodon?
the addition of the hashtags is what made it current in my eyes. Putting those tags in your post turned it into a condemnation of a fighter supported by millions. I oppose that condemnation and stand with millions of others in doing so.
"Putting those tags in your post turned it into a condemnation of a fighter supported by millions."

I am condemning mob mentality by both the insurance company and social media societies. Supporting murder is bad. Promoting terrorism is bad. I think people are in "mob mentality" and lust for gun violence and terrorism.

I think people are being anti-intellectual and not using social media to organize a revival of the 1944 "Second Bill of Rights' which addresses USA problems.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. This is a classic philosopher vs soldier debate the way I see it, we each have our own positions backed by our own life experience.
"We are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. "

1. It is a FACT that Russia is waging a psychological war against NATO / USA since March 2013. Denial of it is part of the mob mentality. direct manipulation of the population.

2. All this pro-murder mindsets / mob mentality are anti-intellectual and a product of Putin's war.

3. A intellectual course would be for social media users to organize around 1944 "Second Bill of Rights" and market them.

I see exactly zero chance not only of this proposed "second bill of rights" passing but also any other useful amendment to the US Constitution.

The US government and many of its state and local subsidiaries have been captured by corporatists, white nationalists, and Christian nationalists. Note that in many of the areas religious extremists are weak real estate developers are strong. Putin did not light the fire, he's only fanning the flames a bit while trying not to burn his hands.

While Putin does aid Trump, the main problem here does not come from Russia, they are only a contributing factor.

Right now, I have to defend my own LGBTQ community and my migrant friends from possible genocide at the hands of the bigots Trump is bringing to the party.

A decades-long social media campaign for a constitutional amendment does not drive off an attempt by ICE to search a neighborhood house to house for migrants. This is where my energy will be going, into street level defense. I will not be signing on for your campaign, sorry about that. Good luck with it.

I really don't have a hard time understanding that you want violence and murder to solve problems.

I've lived in terrorist nations in Africa and I've lived in the Middle East. It really is not hard for me to grasp you wanting to shoot people in the street.

I don't think it takes a decade, I think it takes social media users coming together. But social media users are full of cat photos and stupid as fuck shit all the time and won't address the anti-intellectual behavior.
Your reply is what I'm saying: "mob mentality" and a "terrorist mentality" It's anti-intellectualism in favor of guns / weapon systems.

My stance is that since March 2013 the USA has been under psychological warfare from Russia to self-destruct the nation. It doesn't matter if you are rich, they want to wreck the nation, or just everyday social media users.

The same thing went on during COVID in the USA. Russian owns hearts and minds. See August 24, 2018

"I don't see anything "anti-intellectual" about turning a murderous"

You are encouraging terrorism violence of murdering people on the street.

Medical systems in every nation in history and every geography have people die because there isn't enough money. This is a battle of laws and paperwork, there are ways to overthrow the systems without violence / killing. INTELLECTUAL means.

Even proposing a Mr. Robot TV show kind of "hack the computers" would be more intellectual than guns

"The only thing this"

You are DEFLECTING the "mob mentality" topic. The topic I posted about on my Mastodon is the topic of "mob mentality" thinking system of social media / USA society. At the time of that posting in March on BlueSky, United Health Care was not the topic.

I brought up the topic of USA being 99% mind-fucked by Russia to favor violence and self-destruction, that is why I posted the BBC article. Psychological warfare to be anti-intellectual and angry / hate-filled.
You tagged the post I responded to with UHC-relevent tags. This event was sufficiently out of the blue and sufficiently unrelated to say, the war in Ukraine I doubt Putin had anything to do with it.
It could be killing mobs ready to murder football players because a team lost the Superbowl. The topic of my postings all year about the "Mob Mentality' of the population of the United States of America is out of control.

We are in a Mass Dehumanization attitude like the Middle East.

We could be using intellectual means instead of stroking guns and ginning up violence and hate.
I am not familiar with those posts. If this is off-topic for you and caused by the hashtags I can delete all of my posts on the thread
"I doubt Putin had anything to do with it."

I am talking about "mob mentality", it could be over Superbowl winner, it could be any reason.

There is anti-intellectualism. Trump and Musk are incredibly anti-intellectual in how they use Twitter and social media, so is Fox News.

The post you responded to is about a 1985 book from Neil Postman, "Amusing Ourselves to Death", about Twitter / Mastodon behaviors. About losing mental control to amusement as a society.
