1/ Here's a quick introduction: nice to meet you! I'm Matthew Christopher, creator of the Abandoned America website, book series, podcast, and ice cream flavor (sold poorly, discontinued). I photograph abandoned spaces and write about their stories - I'm interested in actual #history, not ghost stories. Here are my links if you're interested in more of my work:

I did a podcast on that! https://creators.spotify.com/pod/show/abandonedamerica/episodes/The-History-of-Urban-Exploration-Ninjalicious-and-Infiltration-org-e1qor7n
Oh, hey. I'm familiar with your work. Used to go hard for this sort of stuff myself back in the 1990's. But most folks thought I was just weird so never bothered photodocumenting it. Digital cameras didn't exist yet, too. So lugging around all the film & developing it would have been a problem. Saw a bunch of wild stuff in eastern Europe, Russia, and 'the 'stans' after the soviet collapse i'd kinda wished i'd better documented now.
This is so interesting! I'm a Certified General Commercial Appraiser, where I'm always valuing all sorts of properties. Please let me know if you'd ever benefit from my insight.
if you ever find any good abandoned ones or malls (dead or alive and well) that I could photograph, hit me up!
Haha. Will do. THere's more than you'd think... plenty of appraisals for cities. However, their value lies almost exclusively in the land.
