I believe #israel is on its way to make #peace. Yet, the wounds of the holocaust are so deep, its manifesting the power of the evil it suffered.
In history, people often do that. For example, even in Nazi Germany, symbols of Roman Empire were appropriated and re-explained as “Aryan”, even though the Roman Empire exploited Germanic societies, until eventually they began to integrate. So, even though they wanted to return to an ancient glory, the symbols of Roman #power were still imagined.
