It comes after Lebanon said eight people were injured in Israeli attacks on the country yesterday despite the truce deal. As per the terms of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli army was due to withdraw from southern Lebanon on Sunday. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said it would keep soldiers in the country beyond the deadline.
