An international Catholic charity has assured Syria’s Christian community of its continued support after insurgent groups toppled the country’s government on Sunday, 8th December.

Regina Lynch, executive president at Aid to the Church in Need International said the organisation has remained in close contact with its project partners in Syria and is continuing to provide emergency aid and other help, while also calling for prayers.
