The West experienced collective shock upon hearing Vladimir Putin actually say that Ukraine is not a real country in order to justify invasion.

Turkish president Recep Erdogan has exactly that relationship to #Kurdistan. However, the story played out differently because Kurdistan did not receive NATO support. Why? #Türkiye (#Turkey) is a member of #NATO.

Now #Erdogan wants to join the #EU.

I think it's important to note that Ukraine is a sovereign nation that has been recognized as one by Russia in the past, and currently by the UN. Kurdistan is not a sovereign nation and has not been recognized as one by Turkey or the UN.
It's important to note that in 1776, the United States was not recognized by Britain as a sovereign nation — nor by Türkiye nor by the UN.

Try to imagine being told that some other people have decided that you do not live in your own country — whether it be Türkiye, the UN, or the Galactic Council. Now they have right to conduct military operations on you and your family.
