A close up of the front half of a Lace Monitor. This large (1.2m approx long) lizard is an adept tree climber but also very comfortable on the ground. It had speckled skin of black with yellow dots, with yellow skin on the face. Its snout is pointed and it has tree climbing claws on its limbs.
