Because he is would be my guess.

I don't know why anyone wants to be a billionaire when the possibility exists you have to kiss the ass of a complete waste of biological matter of someone like Trump. Sure, I don't have fantastic wealth and no real power, but I've managed to go 57 years without doing it.
