With all the references to #AxeTheTax and little said about #SlashTheCash (rebates) I thought I’d confirm we’re better off with the rebates.

My wife and I (both retired) live outside the Ottawa urban area so we get the rural supplement.

I use an app to track mileage so I know how many litres of gas consumed and our heating bills showed the amount added for the carbon levy.

We’re significantly better off.
