There were minor changes in shoreline silt deposits, but in the last two decades, increased hurricane strength and frequency has destroyed coastal trees, the strong currents have pushed my apple tree over! And I've watched the marsh disappear. The pair of geese I named Gail and Gordon mated out there. That spot is gone, washed away
The edge of a marsh against the ocean. The edge is eroding away, tearing off in 2 foot chunks, it's growing to 6 foot chunks that won't survive winter ice.
