I am starting to see increasing numbers of Americans (who claim to be anti-Trump) online "helpfully" suggesting to me as a Canadian that we really shouldn't shouldn't be boycotting the US as a whole; it's not fair to the blue states, or we should only target the rich, etc.

I am taken aback by just how tone-deaf some people can be.

I need to end this post before I really lose my temper. #boycottusa
