Given the last UK election was dubbed, by some, the 'pothole election' it should be no suppose that Labour has found £1.6bn to fund road maintenance.... given the suggestion that Labour will only achieve a second term if it makes a real impact on people's day-to-day lives, this may actually be a pretty canny move.
