It remans unclear whether T-levels are a viable gateway into NHS careers & a useful way of trying to deal with the shortage of entrants to nurses & other NHS staff training.

Currently they seem to be less able to retain students than other routes, suggesting after five years this has not been the solution to staff recruitment & training that had been promised.

Part of the problem may be knowledge of the difficult working conditions they would enter on gradation?
