Labour has a problem on international trade - as posted yesterday - an increase of US tariffs will badly hit UK exports across the Atlantic - so, does Starmer cuddle up to Trump to see if he can keep the UK outside any protectionist measure Trump sets up against importers....

or does he shift his attitude to the EU & start to seek a constructive engagement on trade (hoping that an EU threatened by Trump might be more amenable to 'help' the UK into a proper trade deal of some sort)?
