The snowstorm currently lashing the Gulf Coast – which included the first-ever blizzard warning in Louisiana – is being described as a once in a generation weather event, the National Weather Service said Monday.
For those playing the game, you can now either take a shot or eat some ice cream.

"once in a generation weather event"
"unprecedented"
"100-year event"
"1000-year event"
"never happened here before"
Didn't Texas freeze, only a few years ago? This generational thing is getting shorter. Gnat is right.
That would be just under 3 years ago in February 2022, the event known as Snowmageddon. When #TedCruzSucks fled the state and left his dog home alone in a house without power for a week. Along with all of his constituents, also without power. #NoIamNotBitter

Never happened before but will certainly happen again probably pretty soon, is not probably a good thing to call "once in a generation".
Yeah, we are now in the part of global warming known as, "climate chaos", where the systems that previously moved heat energy around in a nice orderly way until it could be radiated back into space are breaking down, one by one.
