It is usually so free of a compelling argument that, as far as I can tell, it would only impress people who already vote for that party.
So, serious questions: Do these things work, and if so, how do they work?
Does it just work on a kind of: Well if they have a leaflet that must mean others are voting for them ?

Or is it the notion the propaganda presents that tells the electorate: It's not all about what people are saying in the newspapers? You know, representing an alternative view of the party.
Or maybe it doesn't work at all and it's all just a colossal waste of money?
