What is the best example you can think of for a technology/design that is considered to be 'good' which was created by a person/group considered to be 'bad'?

Best one that comes to my mind is the 'Jerrycan' which is arguably a nazi design and went on to become the standard design of its kind https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerrycan

(Looking for arguments against technological essentialism)
3 jerrycans, green, red and olive diagonally standing beside eachother
@Andreastagmose perhaps something comes to your mind?
I watched like an hour video on these once
they are very nicely designed indeed. Saw a funny exhibition about them at the modern art gallery in Leipzig recently
hmmm... but v2 themselves aren't used...

I'm thinking of an example more along the lines of " the inventor of Torx Screws was a white supremacist" (<- not true to my knowledge!)
V2 rockets? We've got satellite communications now.
I don't get what you are trying to prove.

If Hitler himself would have derived a great mathematical formula, would this formula be less great or true because of Hitler being one of the biggest assholes ever lived? 🤔

As far as I know, Roger Waters (Ex-Pink Floyd) is an asshole (not in any similar category compared to Hitler!) but I love his music nevertheless.
