In 2019 trump made a deal with erdogan and putin to guarantee peace for the Syrian Kurds in the North-East of Syria, since they helped to destroy ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

Now putin has withdrawn his troops and Turkey has started bombing the Kurds with planes and artillery, while its proxies attack on the ground.

This is the value of "deals" between authoritarians.
