we didn’t - it was an impulse stop on the way to Thun really, but I will. It’s such a lovely city

Bit of a shame the weather's not great. Both Bern and Thun are so much prettier in the szn. Though I guess that's true for any place. 🤔

yes - would have loved more sun, but were predicted rain and didn’t get it so will take that as a win. Couldn’t see the mountains today either but will be back…

I was there last summer on a hot day and we found ourselves walking up the river with a billion people not wearing much, carrying dry bags and wishing we could join them

it’s absolutely stunning… actually Bern generally is really lovely, as is Thun, where we stayed. Went to watch the rugby in an Irish bar and hit full on plastic-Irish Paddy’s day which was a bit weird…
