some may just just be returning home because they expect less violence, or were specifically under threat from the Assad regime, and not HTS/etc. Probably their political affinities are varied..
Probably 99% of them, and for the most part they hadn't fled because of assad, but the potential for violence in what was, until recently (11 years anyway), a stable civilian society...
