Watching with increasing horror what is going on in the US. I am convinced the upcoming election in Canada is existential; keeping Poilievre out of power is the only way to show that despite what is happening in the US, fascism and autocracy are not inevitable for Canadians as well. Along with Mexico, we will need to be beacons of Freedom in North America. I hope to god we are up to the challenge. #cdnpoli
