North Korean tankers made 43 trips between a Russian oil terminal in the Far East and DPRK ports between March and November 2024. All ships arrived in Russia empty and returned loaded with oil.

The oil is payment for the weapons and troops Pyongyang has sent Moscow to fuel its war in Ukraine
