The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić stated that Russia's Gazprom Neft has 45 days to sell its shares in Serbia’s biggest petroleum company NIS.

This was in response to the US sanctions imposed on the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), whose majority shareholder is Gazprom Neft.

"We value both Moscow and Washington; we value everyone in the world. We have nothing against anyone. But Serbia is dearest to us," Vučić said.
