Poland's prime minister assured Benjamin Netanyahu that he will have safe passage and won't be arrested during his visit this month to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

Polish President Duda urged the government to ensure Netanyahu's safety, citing the "exceptional circumstances" of the event.

Netanyahu has not travelled abroad since the ICC arrest warrant was issued in November.
