The article does say, however, that the governor of NY “will never, under any circumstances, turn this doctor over to the state of Louisiana under any extradition request,” and will “do everything (she) can to protect this doctor and allow her to continue the work that she’s doing that is so essential.”

It will be interesting to watch this one!

Not yet. But even if she was, this is a conflict between two states. The only thing the fed AG could maybe get involved with (that I can think of right now) is the shipment of the pills between state lines, but that is not (yet) illegal.

The story came up before he was confirmed. I don't know about the indictment. @dalfen
