Friendica Social Network (Leipzig)

I don't have a Raspberry Pi 5 yet, but I'm really curious about its potential as a media center. Has anyone experimented with using the Pi 5 for 4K streaming, light retro gaming, or other applications? I'd love to hear your experiences!

I use the pi5 for my daughter to play ScummVM games. Retro gaming is good on it. I haven't tried it as a media center as I have plex on my desktop.

I have plex server but this time i will try jellyfin and stream content to the Raspberry Pi 5. (The audio processing will be done by my av receiver)

I'm a little hesitant to spend so much on the Pi 5 until I'm sure it can handle 4K video smoothly.

I have 2k and it works with that, I don't have 4k monitor.
