A detailed investigation of the people and domestic animals that the B.C. teen with avian flu had contact with has not revealed a clear source of exposure. 34 health care workers, 16 close contacts & 25 animals, including birds, rodents, dogs, cats, and reptiles, all tested negative for the virus.
