TIL 14th century conqueror Timur or Tamerlane's body was exhumed in 1941 by Soviet anthropologist for examination. The casket had the inscription "Whomsoever opens my tomb shall unleash an invader more terrible than I." Three days later, Germany invaded Soviet Union.
