TIL that a popular Halloween song, "Thriller," was written by an Englishman named Rod Temperton. He wrote a number of top hits for other recording artists, won a Grammy award and was nominated for an Oscar. His nickname was "The Invisible Man" because he chose to stay out of the limelight.
