TIL around 1920, a man found 3 saplings growing in a row & grafted the central tree onto the 2 adjacent ones in a diagonal fashion to form the shape of the letter "N" in order to impress his girlfriend, Nellie. It was apparently successful as the couple later married. It's known as Nellie's Tree.
