TIL after the opening scene of Goldeneye (1995) featured James Bond (performed by stuntman Wayne Michaels) bungee jumping off the Contra Dam in Switzerland, the dam owners leased access to the dam to a commercial bungee jump operator. Over 10,000 people have now bungeed off the 720-ft (220 m) dam.
