This is not true and it’s taken one sentence out of context.

From the same resource, it says that “ The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that men cause an average of 6.1 million accidents per year in the US, and women cause 4.4 million accidents per year. “

Men clearly causes more accidents than women. Also men are more likely to drive without license or cause more deadly accidents.

The weird conclusion comes in the next paragraph, it says

“Males do 62% of the driving, but only cause 58% of the accidents. So women do cause slightly more accidents per capita than men.”

I have no idea what does it even mean by “men do 62% of driving” ?you either are the driver or not and why does this “ per capita “ justified male drivers are better drivers? Nevertheless, 58% of the totals accidents cause by men is still a higher rate than 42%, which caused by women.

How on earth is women causing more accidents than men? This is very misleading.
