Lucky to be granted an audience with Fell this #Caturday. Her wisdom is above rubies.
Close photo of a fluffy grey and white cat (my cat Fell) sitting, facing us, atop a fuzzy, dark, woven blanket on the back of a chair. The silhouette of the cat is like a heraldry crest: Two softly pink and fluffily white ears in points listening forward like the points of a crown worn by a fiercely proud, intelligent grey face with its white blaze that points like a soft arrow down to the dusky pink nose. The face is wonderfully fluffy and symmetrically white-whiskered, with a white ruff, edged on both sides by more silvery grey, that ends where it ruffles over the point of two white paws that rest, one over the other, over the edge of the chair. The large, black pools of her pupils, set in golden eyes, stare beyond us. There is some vignetting around the edges of the picture so we can focus on this noble face, though in the background we can see evidence that we are in a living room, not a castle, some rectangles of colorful art hung on the walls and a warm, round, Mayan calendar made of wood that rises like the sun behind the gorgeous cat.
