If push comes to shove, and neither Presidential candidate gets 270 votes:
“The vote would be taken by State, with each State having one vote.”
Not likely to happen, but worth knowing.
Also, note that the new House of Representatives will take office Jan 3rd, with the certification of Electoral College votes taking place Jan 6th.
