the Reddit federal workers sub has stories of people getting the email and immediately losing cell phone and computer access. People are panicking about having to leave their homes and pull kids out of school.

The immediate impact on USAID staff -- both Americans and the huge numbers of local employees is insane. The long term impact is impossible to me to wrap my head around.
