Kaj hail from the Finnish region of Ostrobothnia, where Swedish is the majority language; 'bastu' is Swedish for 'sauna'; 'bara bada bastu' means both 'just have a sauna' and 'don't do anything except have saunas'; 'yksi kaksi kolme sauna!' is 'one two three sauna!' in Finnish (learn it and use it!); 'perkele' is a splendid Finnish all-purpose swear word that is very satisfying to say.
