A Grungy Dystopian Black And White Cityscape Photo In Landscape Format. In The Foreground And Stretching From The Upper Left Margin And Descending Towards The Lower Right Corner Is A Row Of Low-Rise Mixed Use (Residential, Business Etc) Buildings Of Perhaps Six To Ten Floors. They All Have A Disheveled And Neglected Appearance. Many Have Randomly Placed External Air Conditioning Units, Clothes Racks And The Occasional Open Window. Just In View In The Upper Left Corner Is A Penthouse Shack, An Addition Made By Slum Landlords For Low Rent Tenants.
Contrasting In The Background And Predominantly In The Upper Right Corner Are Modern Very High-Rise Apartment Blocks, All Very Uniform And Clean.
The Location Is To Kwa Wan In Kowloon City, Hong Kong. The Low-Rise Buildings Probably Being A Relic From The Former Kai Tai Airport That Was Situated A Few Hundred Metres Away And Would Have Stunted The Vertical Growth Of Any Nearby Buildings (2017).
