I cannot live in this bleak world so starting next week I am drenching my walls with color. I don’t want grey or greige or beige I want mango and aubergine and cobalt. I will drag those colors out of doors and into the city and raise the hearts of those who #resist. I’ll bring cookies and tea and watch their kids, pay their parking tickets and bring them home for a hot dinner. This is the coin of the elderly and I’ll pay it gladly.
