Unfortunately not, sorry. You can hide other people's boosts by going to their profile, clicking ... and "hide boosts" but this option is hidden on your own profile.

Having said that, if you're boosting stuff from your home timeline it won't show up twice. Your timeline only repeats a boost if 40 other posts have already scrolled through it.

that's unfortunate. i remember some apps allow this so I'll maybe look into that

By the way, do you mean other people's posts that you've boosted, or your own posts that other people have boosted?
