One reservation, tails uses IBM/RH systemd/dbus/boot which you have to trust those corporate giants, also Oracle's virtualization tools. Both are high profile US clients, or is it the other way around? ;)

Doesn't matter if you buy a used machine, use tails from a wireless no where near you. Smash it to bits when done and throw it and tails drive, also smashed, in the ocean @yianiris If that kind of security is necessary then GET OFF ANY DIGITAL OR OTHER FORM OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION, and use trusted couriers delivering written notes, as osama did, and they found him anyway because one of his couriers didn't practice persec (saw the courier pull the phone batt to avoid tracking and tailed(sic)

Even if you have no semiconductor on you, being around people these days you are audio/video recorded and there is literally no hiding corner. Even forsts you can not trust, they have drones with tuned thermography to locate profiled animals.
